A second Pacific Rim LEGO Ideas project has joined the second review of 2026, bringing the total number of sets up for consideration to 64.

With just over a month remaining until the current LEGO Ideas review stage closes, another huge build based on the 2013 movie has reached the required 10,000 votes and will be considered.

Designed by Cosmic.Nomad, Pacific Rim: Gipsy Danger is a massive 3,334-piece recreation of the iconic Jaeger. Standing at 49cm tall, the model is an imposing build with multiple points of articulation.

The chest can open to house both pilots, while the sword attaches to the forearm. The build also includes a swappable hand and elbow rockets. The submission features eight minifigures: Raleigh Becket (2025), Mako Mori, Stacker Pentecost, Newton Geiszler, Herman Gottlieb, Hannibal Chau, Yancy Becket, and Raleigh Becket (2020).

There is precedent for the LEGO Group combining multiple LEGO Ideas submissions into a single set, with 21343 Viking Village allowing two fan designers to share the rewards after their projects were merged. A similar approach could potentially be considered here if both Pacific Rim projects are selected.

The model will now enter the review stage, where the LEGO Group will decide whether it becomes an official set available in stores like recent LEGO Ideas releases such as 21369 The X-Files and 21372 La Catrina.
