The rumoured LEGO Shrek minifigure series has now been officially confirmed by a tease in the second LEGO catalogue for 2026.
Following the reveal of the first two LEGO Shrek sets earlier this year, it was hinted that there was more on the way for this iconic franchise. We now know what this meant.
The German 2HY26 LEGO catalogue is available from the official online store now, and on page 22, you’ll find a look at the current series of LEGO minifigures, as well as a tease for the second. That tease confirms the rumour of a Shrek minifigure series.
There are no details regarding which characters will appear as minifigures, but it does state a release window of September. It’s huge news for the LEGO theme, which only started earlier this month.
LEGO Shrek’s only current sets include 72423 Shrek, Donkey & Puss in Boots and 40923 Shrek, Donkey & Gingy Figures. The former even includes the first LEGO Shrek minifigure, depicting Puss in Boots. He won’t be alone on your shelf for much longer, though.
