The next LEGO Harry Potter direct-to-consumer set is 76476 The Ministry of Magic Collectors’ Edition, which spans three levels and nearly 3,500 pieces.
Arriving on shelves on August 29 for LEGO Insiders (and September 1 for everyone else), 76476 The Ministry of Magic Collectors’ Edition follows the likes of Hogsmeade, The Burrow, Gringotts Wizarding Bank and Diagon Alley in getting the Collectors’ Edition treatment. Taking design cues from 76417 Gringotts Wizarding Bank Collectors’ Edition’s split-level approach, this supersized rendition of the Ministry of Magic builds on the 2022 playset with a London street level and a basement that houses the Department of Mysteries. Up top you’ve got a London Underground station, red telephone box and toilet block, from which a minifigure can be flushed down to the Ministry below.
The Ministry itself crams in Umbridge’s office, Arthur Weasley’s office, the Wizengamot courtroom and golden lifts, with a courtyard for Dumbledore and Voldemort to face off beneath a banner of Minister for Magic Cornelius Fudge. The lower level houses the Hall of Prophecy with collapsing shelves, and the veil through which Sirius Black falls after being struck by Bellatrix Lestrange.
Fudge and Bellatrix are both absent from the actual minifigure line-up, however, which is hooked specifically to the Order of the Phoenix rather than the Deathly Hallows. Included in the box are Harry Potter, Ron Weasley, Hermione Granger, Albus Dumbledore, Sirius Black, Mad-Eye Moody, Nymphadora Tonks, Arthur Weasley, Kingsley Shacklebolt, Dolores Umbridge, Lord Voldemort, Lucius Malfoy, Antonin Dolohov and Mrs. Figg.
Only the latter two characters are brand new for LEGO Harry Potter as a whole, although there are fresh takes on previous minifigures here for Mad-Eye Moody, Kingsley Shacklebolt, Lucius Malfoy and others. Also included in 76476 The Ministry of Magic Collectors’ Edition is a new and unique Lynx Patronus, joining other collectible Patronus figures to celebrate the LEGO Harry Potter theme’s 25th anniversary.
At 51cm tall, this doesn’t quite hit the towering heights of Gringotts – which stands 79cm high – but it does give it a fair run for its money. And at 3,491 pieces, it’s the fifth-biggest Wizarding World set so far, behind Gringotts, 76405 Hogwarts Express Collectors’ Edition, 75978 Diagon Alley and 71043 Hogwarts Castle.

Everyone else will be able to get their hands on it from September 1 at LEGO.com and in LEGO Stores, for £389.99 in the UK, $449.99 in the US and €429.99 in Europe.
That’s the same initial release day as the recently-revealed 40975 Mini Hogwarts Castle, and marks the beginning of this year’s Back to Hogwarts event. Expect other LEGO Harry Potter promotions to be up for grabs at the same time.
